HEY THERE, I’m jess!

I’m The one behind the camera, the girl with the loud giggle and drive for adventure. Probably with my sassy golden retriever, Luna, in tow! life has expanded recently and now we have a little whiskey running around, too (our dog and favorite beverage!).

I love to travel, living and exploring all over the map. I moved from seattle to the mountains in 2017 and call Leavenworth, Washington home… and then I fell in love and call port angeles my part-time home, too! There’s something so wonderful about living in different parts of the state. I absolutely adore showing my clients and friends around some of my favorite spots wherever I am!

But let’s rewind a little bit…

I started my photography journey in 2015 but truly discovered my passion for it while living in ethiopia for a few years seemingly many years ago. I tried to soak up the culture and beauty of the people, diving right into my love of portraiture without ever knowing where that path would take me. Always having a camera in my hands, I learned observation and human connection like never before. I soon found my calling in documenting people and their stories in love and life.

I live for the gushy love stuff. I love hopping in my camper van, rosé, with absolutely no plan and roaming around, meeting new people, dancing under the stars, traveling abroad. I have an absolutely absurd obsession with scotland. I love the people I surround myself with, family and friends that push me and support me in all of my endeavors.

this is my passion. it’s where I feel the most confident and creative. I crave the intimacy and experience from any session, continuously searching for the art between the way people connect and how they expend love. Those sweet moments that disappear all too quickly. there is nothing like Getting to experience the most intimate of lifes moments with my clients! I’ll tear up right along with you, cheer you on, laugh and dance and make you feel like we’ve been friends for ages! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s play!
